TURKEY TO JOIN RUGBY LEAGUE FOLD

ТУРЦИЯ ПРИСОЕДИНЯЕТСЯ К РЕГБИ ЛИГ  

Турция находится в процессе становления Регби Лиг как новая нация.

Клубная команда KADIKÖY BULS, представляющая большой и космополитический район Стамбула, расположенный на северном берегу Мраморного моря, только что прибыла в Белград с четырехдневным визитом, за период которого будут проведены тренерские занятия и официальные курсы для судей, а также состоится игра с командой из второго сербского дивизиона New Belgrade и турецкая дружина будет присутствовать на финале Кубка Сербии в воскресенье.

"На данный момент у нас есть четыре клуба и Bulls of Kadıköy является ядром регбилиг в Турции", сказал их тренер Жульен Treu по прибытии. "Мы следуем всем рекомендациям Министерства спорта, чтобы сформировать Федерацию, у нас есть ассоциация игроков и следующий шаг должен зарегистрировать пятый клуб, чтобы завершить наше работу на этом этапе."

В воскресенье они будут гостями на стадионе FC Radnicki на финале Кубка Сербии между командами Dorcol и Red Star и предшествующему этому матчу Shield clash.

"Это большой шаг вперед для регбилиг на Балканах с началом процесса, который должен сделать Турцию членом семьи Европейской Регби Лиг," отметил Йован Vujosevic, RLEF Региональный директор по Восточной и Центральной Европы. «Турция очень важна стратегически, а не только для Европы, но и для наших коллег на Ближнем Востоке."

Turkey is in the process of becoming rugby league’s newest nation. 

Club side Kadıköy Bulls, from a large and cosmopolitan district of Istanbul on the northern shore of the Sea of Marmara, have just arrived in Belgrade on a four-day visit that will see them undertake coaching and match official courses, play against Serbian second division side New Belgrade and attend the Serbian Cup final on Sunday. 

“So far we have four clubs and Bulls of Kadıköy is the nucleus of rugby league in Turkey,” said their coach Julien Treu on arrival. “We are following all the guidelines of the Ministry of Sports to form a Federation, we have a player’s association and the next step is to have five registered clubs to complete our application.”

On Sunday, they will be guests at FC Radnicki stadium for the Serbian Cup final between rivals Dorcol and Red Star and the preceding Shield clash. 

“This is great step forward for the rugby league in the Balkans with the start of the process that should see Turkey become a member of the European rugby league family,” noted Jovan Vujosevic, RLEF Regional director for East and Central Europe. “Turkey is very important strategically, not only for Europe but also for our colleagues in the Middle East.”
